Your voice data goes directly to Google's AI. We never intercept or store your conversations.

Zero Data by Default

If you don't save recordings to cloud, we store absolutely no conversation data.

Cloud storage is optional. You control whether to save recordings or keep everything local.

1How Your Data Flows

When you use Dolphone for AI conversations:

Direct Connection to Google

Whether you use your own API key or purchase credits, your voice data is sent directly to Google's Gemini API. Dolphone acts only as a bridge - we do not process, store, or analyze your conversation content.

No Data Without Cloud Storage

If you choose not to save recordings to our cloud, we have zero access to your conversation data. Everything stays on your device or goes directly to Google.

2Cloud Storage (Optional)

If you choose to save recordings to our cloud (Pro feature):

  • Recordings are encrypted at rest and in transit
  • Only you can access your recordings
  • You can delete your data at any time
  • We never share, sell, or use your recordings for training

3Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Email address - For account authentication and important notifications
  • Display name - Optional, for personalization
  • Usage statistics - Credit balance, subscription status (not conversation content)

4Third-Party Services

Google Gemini API

Processes your voice conversations. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

Firebase Authentication

Handles secure sign-in. Subject to Firebase Privacy Policy.

Apple App Store / Google Play

Processes payments. We never see your payment card details.
